We knew that Andrea + Darren’s wedding was going to be fun and easy going and it was completely! Everyone was happy and really enjoying the easy summer sunshine and BBQ dinner, however I think the highlight, especially for the kids was the bouncy castle, even Darren + Andrea had a go!
We got to work with our favourite caricaturist, Rich Nairn – The Artful Doodler. Not only did he sketch the guests but also drew Andrea + Darren during the ceremony, which I thought was a lovely idea.
After lots of food and being force fed desert we left them all to enjoy their evening. It was a really lovely day and it has been a pleasure working with such nice people. I wish them the best of luck for the future!
A few words from our Bride and Groom…
How did Darren propose?
Darren and I were visiting Table Mountain in Cape town when Darren said he was going to get a beer. Whilst looking through telescope I saw Darren with a big sign saying “will you marry me”.
What is your most memorable moment of the day?
Our first kiss as man and wife, to my surprise Darren dipped me and gave me a Hollywood style Kiss.
Which is your favourite image and why?
We love the image with us and all the children on the bouncy castle, it was really fun!
What was your favourite purchase for your big day?
Andrea’s dress and Darren’s cufflinks
Where did you go on honeymoon?
Will be going to Australia, New Zealand and Dubai.
What advice would you give to brides reading this who are planning their wedding?
Make sure you do what you want for the day, rather than what other want.
